Reports of Our Demise Were greatly Exaggerated To the team thanks for the great effort. I don't know how the team practices or how coachable these kids are, but from a spectators perceptive they sure play with a helluva lot of heart. Warren Central has just a good a team as they had last year. The difference was a vastly better effort on special teams and an obvious desire to win this game by the TEAM ! There are some real good young kids who evidently are willing to lay it on the line come Friday Night. And the more experience they get, the better they will be. Trailing 13-6 at the half and losing yet another linebacker, I was very concerned with how we could handle Darrius Brooks a very tough WC running back. He had only one significant run in the second half. Albeit it was an outstanding effort breaking several tackles to cut the lead to 27-19 in the third quarter. But this was a game we needed. The program really needed to make a statement that we can still compete and beat a top ten team. There are six games to go and I can't wait for Meade Co. ! Stand Up and Cheer ! |
