Week Three In the End Zone

Suprise. Suprise. Suprise? After three weeks there are some sub-plots to the season that aren't getting much attention. Beth Haven is 1-2 in it's first year of eleven man football. The Bearcats have been very competitive in all three games and are only eight points short of being undefeated. I've seen this all before. A little private school that doesn't have a home field and rents a public school's place to play. And after a few years of success they build a little place of their own and bash their former landlords....

Atherton (1-2) has more wins than Meade County, North Hardin, Butler,Seneca, Oldham Co. and Holy Cross combined ! According to PRP football web-site the natives are restless and are forming a lynch mob to run Coach Wolfe back to Waggener. Speaking of PRP coaches, Dan Leasor is enjoying his "retirement" in Sheperdsville. Bullitt Central is 2-1. Jeffersontown (3-0) is quietly putting together it's most successful season in recent memory.
