Week Nine In Review

The playoff picture is now set with two weeks remaining in the regular season.St.Xavier, Trinity, Male, Valley, Central, DeSales and Holy Cross all earned the top seed for the intra-district tourneys that begin November 9th.

St.X (8-0) has given up only 65 points against arguably the toughest schedule in the state. The Tigers ran throuh PRP 35-7.

Male (8-1) has scored 409 points in nine games. What a difference a year makes. Different personel, different approach on offense, same results. Male beat vastly improved Fern Creek 54-33. The Dawgs know how to blow people out. They are off next week and no doubt will have tickets for Manual-Bullitt East

Meade County (5-3) has won five in a row after starting out 0-3.

Manual (7-1) continues to live up to the pre-season hype. Joey Harness probably has the school's single season TD pass record already. Manual closed out district play with a 49-13 win at Butler.

Trinity (6-2) had no problem taking out Seneca 55-3. The Rocks will see Seneca in three weeks in the first round.
